Soapnuts are unique, healthy and very economical.
Keep your family healthy while all of their clothes, bedding and towels super clean.
Traditional synthetic laundry detergents/soaps are filled with harsh chemicals, dyes, foaming agents and fragrances. These all harm the environment greatly as well as irritate sensitive skin, allergies, babies and children's delicate skin.
Soap nuts will keep your laundry fresh, fluffy and soft; will not fade fabric colours or leave any residue on your clean laundry as traditional chemical detergents do. Can also be used in all water temperatures and on all fabrics safely, if garment instructions are followed. Soap nuts will also save you a great deal of money in the laundry room as they are much cheaper than chemical laundry detergents and there will be no more need for expensive fabric softener.
Soap nuts are a superior product to use as an all natural laundry soap because it is directly from nature, has nothing added to it and will not harm the environment in any way. Will not irritate skin sensitivities, will not aggravate allergies, is safe for even newborn skin as it is gentle and absolutely 100% chemical free. I have been using these amazing products of nature to do my family's laundry for a couple of years now and am hooked for life!Mother Nature's Laundry Detergent
How to use: Simply place three to five soap nuts in the cotton bag provided, tie up, toss in the washing machine and turn the water on. They will not really suds up as there are no artificial chemical foaming agents in them. If you wash your clothes in cold water, it is best to soak the soap nuts in warm water in a bowl first for five minutes to release the natural cleaning agent saponin before tossing in the washing machine. If you have hard water, you will probably need to use five instead of three soapnuts to ensure proper cleaning. The soap nuts will last about four to six loads. Instructions are printed on the bag as well.

Soap nut trees are one of nature's most remarkable gifts.
Soap nuts are not nuts at all; so no
worries if you have nut allergies in your home. Soap nuts are actually
berries from the soapberry tree, technically called the Ritha (Sapindus mukorossi) tree. The scientific name for a soapnut is sapindus. They typically grow in India, Nepal,
China, and the Himalayan.
Saponin is the only all-natural
substance known that works as effectively and diversely as synthetic
surfactants – and therefore is one of the greatest
re-discoveries of our age. The soapberry consists of a shell and a seed. The dried Ritha fruit or shell is the most valuable part of the plant. It's fleshy skin/shell contains rich saponin; the natural cleaner. This makes a really good substitute for washing soap and is used in preparation of shampoos, detergents, etc.. In fact, the skin of the fruit is highly valued by the rural folks in the above countries as a naturally produced shampoo for washing their hair. They also use these soapnuts for washing baby clothes as well as delicate silk and woolen clothes with no skin irritations or reactions; a superior all natural laundry soap.
The soapnuts go by many common names such as soap berries, washing
nuts, soap nut shells, wash shells, soapberry nuts, Ritha nut shells, Chinese
soapberry, mukorossi sapindus and soap nuts.
Soap nuts have been used by man for thousands of
years yet remained obscure throughout the ages. Due to the “green” movement and
the search for alternatives to synthetic chemicals, combined with all of the obtainable information on the internet, soap nuts have re-emerged as the ideal alternative.
Try them for yourself; you'll love them!
